THE CONCEPT
A BUILDING THAT BUILDS A BRIDGE BETWEEN TRADITION AND INNOVATION
From the outside, the facade – which was constructed using handmade bricks laid out vertically – is reminiscent of the historic Deutschlandhaus that opened in 1929. On the inside, a futuristic-looking 40-metre-tall palm hall topped with a glass dome – an open space flooded with light with a unique atmosphere that consistently fascinates in new ways with every glance.
But the building conceptualised by the ABG Real Estate Group floods not only the spectacular palm hall with light: thanks to intelligent space planning and creative architectural solutions, all office spaces offer a bright and inspiring atmosphere – Deutschlandhaus only offers working spaces in top locations.
THE OFFICE SPACES
Across nine floors and 33,250 square metres, Deutschlandhaus offers one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge and highly flexible office spaces that will motivate your employees and impress your business partners – at a location that is much more than just a top address.
AS INDIVIDUAL AS YOUR REQUIREMENTS
In the office spaces, Deutschlandhaus becomes your Deutschlandhaus, because all spaces on all floors can be configured entirely in accordance with your individual requirements. Everything is possible, from open spaces to individual offices.
MODERN TEAM OFFICES
The team office configuration of your office space offers a high level of communication and transparency for your daily business – and, thanks to the large windows and glass partitions, a bright and invigorating working environment.
OPEN WORKSPACES
Comprehensive team communication, inspiring exchange and focused working in designated quiet zones – configuring your office space as an open workspace promotes the dynamic and the team spirit of your company.
THE CULINARY SPACES
There is something for every taste in Deutschlandhaus: the comprehensive culinary offering – from breakfast cafes and bistros for a quick lunch to exclusive restaurants and bars – makes Deutschlandhaus the new ‘place to eat’ in the heart of Hamburg. And your eyes will be just as pleased as your taste buds: the spectacular culinary spaces on the ground floor between Valentinskamp and Drehbahn feature ceilings over six metres high and window fronts that go all the way to the floor, and thus also offer fascinating views of Dammtorstraße and Gänsemarkt.
THE RETAIL SPACES
Deutschlandhaus gives Dammtorstraße an entirely new boulevard character – the attractive retail spaces on the ground floor offer not only an exclusive selection of food and fashion, but also, thanks to the ceilings at over six metres high and shop fronts entirely of glass, a truly unique shopping experience.
THE HIGHLIGHTS

THE CONCEPT: EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF
Deutschlandhaus offers a lot more than just office spaces: here, employees and guests will also find a wide array of restaurants and cafes, as well as numerous shopping options ranging from food to fashion.
EXCLUSIVE ROOF TERRACE
Fascinating perspectives: the spectacular roof terrace on the top floor of Deutschlandhaus is an impressive place to meet with customers, have your lunch break and to spend time with colleagues, all while looking out over the roofs of the Hamburg city centre.
LIVE WITH YOUR FINGER ON THE PULSE OF THE CITY
Across nine floors and more than 2,800 square metres, the 30 intelligently laid-out rental flats with modern amenities at Valentinskamp offer an urban lifestyle at the heart of Hamburg for singles and couples.
EXCELLENT CONNECTIVITY
In the age of digitisation and cloud-based IT, fast, reliable and secure internet connectivity is one of the more important criteria for office tenants. For this reason, Deutschlandhaus is equipped with two independent glass-fibre networks. The WiredScore certification analyses the quality of the digital infrastructure and enables Deutschlandhaus to take the needs of technologically oriented tenants into account. Gold-level certification was issued in the spring of 2021.
‘THE NEW DEUTSCHLANDHAUS WILL TAKE THE ARCHITECTURE STYLE OF THE TRADITIONAL OFFICE BUILDING INTO THE FUTURE.’
